I spoke with a new friend recently about how our simple home towns can be fantastic. I was thinking about that conversation a lot today. Sometimes it’s not the attractions, architecture, or topography. Sometimes the simplest of things are the most fantastic. Sometimes it’s just the people. After we all finished eating too much, we picked up our instruments and started playing. Earlier everyone wrote their names on the solo cups with heavy duty magic marker. So it could’ve been that we were all sharpie high. But whatever the case, we forgot about football and sales papers and the tomorrows. We were enjoying each other, the music, the company. We were Thanksjamming.
